Terry Stone
Born on 13 January 1971 in Kingston upon Thames, Terry Stone is a British actor, film producer and author who has become one of the most recognisable faces in British crime cinema. Also known by his alias **Terry Turbo, he built a reputation long before the cameras found him, working as a prominent rave promoter and co-founding Garage Nation and Rave Nation alongside Jason Kaye, as well as founding One Nation**.
Rise of the Footsoldier
Stone’s defining screen role is that of Tony Tucker, the imposing Essex gangster at the heart of the Rise of the Footsoldier franchise. He first brought the character to life in the original Rise of the Footsoldier (2007), and has reprised the role across multiple sequels, including Rise of the Footsoldier 3: The Pat Tate Story (2017), Rise of the Footsoldier 4: Marbella (2019) and Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins (2021). His involvement has extended beyond performance, with Stone also serving as a producer on entries in the franchise, making him both an on-screen and off-screen presence within the series.
Acting Career
Stone began his acting career in 2003, appearing in Hell to Pay. Since then he has accumulated a varied body of work in both film and television. On the small screen he has appeared in popular British series including EastEnders, The Bill and My Family. On film, his credits span a wide range of genres, from the horror-comedy Doghouse (2009), in which he played Sergeant Gavin Wright, to the crime drama Plastic (2014) as Clarkson, and Shank (2010) as Papa. He also appeared in Anuvahood (2011) and The Big I Am (2010).
Beyond the Footsoldier universe, Stone delivered a notable turn in Once Upon a Time in London (2019), portraying real-life gangland figure Jack ‘Spot’ Comer.
Stone currently resides in Windsor with his family.
