A fictionalised West Ham firm called the Green Street Elite (GSE) – a thinly veiled Inter City Firm analogue – viewed through the eyes of Matt Buckner, an American student (Elijah Wood) wrongly expelled from Harvard who moves to London and falls in with the firm through his brother-in-law Pete (Charlie Hunnam).

How it relates

Different tone from the ROTF films – more outsider-looking-in, less period-accurate, more melodramatic. But the world it depicts (West Ham firm, brewing pub meetings, terrace fights, away-day rituals) is the same one Carlton Leach lived in for over a decade before the events of Rise of the Footsoldier.
