Career in Film

Mond built a varied filmography throughout the 2010s. One of her most prominent roles came in Ben Drew’s acclaimed 2012 British crime drama Ill Manors, written and directed by the musician known as Plan B. The film featured an ensemble cast including Riz Ahmed and Ed Skrein, with Mond playing Michelle, one of eight central characters whose stories interweave across seven turbulent days on the streets. The film was notable for its use of six original Plan B rap songs as narrative commentary.

Her film credits continued to grow with roles across multiple productions. She appeared as Carmen in the 2014 action film We Still Kill the Old Way, reprising that role in the 2017 follow-up We Still Steal the Old Way. In 2014 she also appeared in Evil Never Dies as Angela and in United We Fall as Bella Davis. The following year brought two further film credits: Age of Kill (2015), in which she played D.I. Hannah Siddiq, and Assassin (2015), where she took on the role of Alex. She also appeared in The Conversations (2016) as Warrior Girl.
