Born on 12 October 1963 in Marylebone, London, Dave Legeno was a British actor, mixed martial artist, and professional wrestler whose imposing physical presence made him one of the most recognisable character actors of his generation. He passed away on 6 July 2014.

Legeno built an impressive and varied filmography across both film and television. His most celebrated role internationally was that of Fenrir Greyback, the fearsome werewolf villain in the Harry Potter series. He portrayed the character across three instalments: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010), and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011).
