Kevin Leslie is a London-based actor best known for his work in British crime drama, with a strong presence across both film and theatre. He plays Detective Green in Rise of the Footsoldier 3: The Pat Tate Story (2017), the acclaimed entry in the long-running Rise of the Footsoldier franchise centred on the life of Pat Tate.

The Krays and Critical Acclaim

Leslie has earned considerable critical recognition for his portrayal of Reggie Kray, one of the most iconic figures in British gangland history. He took on the role across two films, The Rise of the Krays (2015) and The Fall of the Krays (2016), demonstrating a consistent ability to bring weight and authenticity to real-life criminal figures. These performances firmly established him as a compelling presence within the British crime genre.

Film Career

Beyond the Krays saga and Rise of the Footsoldier 3, Leslie has built a varied film career. His credits include Essex Boys Retribution (2013), in which he appeared as a Surveillance Officer, as well as Sea of Lies (2018), 8 Remains (2018), The Rizen: Possession (2019), The Curse of Hobbes House (2020), and The Audition (2022). He has also appeared in Christmas at the Holly Day Inn (2023). Further projects include Vengeance, Rizen 2, and The Escort.

Theatre

Alongside his screen work, Leslie has established himself as a respected stage actor. He has toured with the English Touring Theatre and holds the distinction of being an original cast member in Blue Stockings at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, one of the most prestigious theatrical venues in the world.

Leslie has continued to develop his career with television work, appearing in the pilot The Doorman, and was expected to film The Mob Priest alongside Mickey Rourke, further cementing his place within the British and international crime drama landscape.
